Verify for others

Vouchley offers multiple features that are in place to protect users against impersonators and scammers. One of these features is the "Verify for others" system.

How does it work?

This feature works by allowing you to set a customizable message that will show on your public profile to other users. Other users that you trade with will be able to request a specific message in this box, allowing you to prove to other users that you are the owner of the account you are trading with.

If used correctly, this feature aims to eliminate all cases of impersonation upon users on Vouchley.

How do I use it?

To get started, head over to Verify for others page on your dashboard, then enter the message that the user who you are trading with has asked you to enter, then click save.

Once you have saved the message, it will be displayed on your public profile for other users to see. If you have entered the correct message, you will be able to prove to other users that you are the owner of the account you are trading with.

Tips for using this feature:

• Do not trust a message that contains a username (or user ID) that is not yours or theirs.
• Your message will dissapear 5 minutes after saving it.
• Users can view your "Verify message" by clicking the Lock icon on your profile
• No ammount of security measures can guarentee 100% protection, so trade carefully.
